Advantages of laser cutting,
1.Limited deformation: laser is a non-contact cutting process so there is no force deformation on part. Also thermal deformation is very limited since thermal effect of edge is very narrow.
2.No need of tooling: save tooling fee and it is efficient to make sample or produce small quantity production.
3.Good precision: laser width is fixed and tiny therefore tolerance can be controlled in 0.5mm.
4.Smooth edge: roughness of cutting edge is very small so not necessary for extra de-burr process. Smooth edge enhances part quality.
5.Fast cutting: compare to wire cutting, speed of laser cutting is higher.
6.Stable process quality: computer control brings good repeatability and reproducibility.
